Agatha Poon has been a market research professional for 15 years, and has been a regular speaker at numerous professional gatherings and industry events, including PTC, CommunicAsia, BrightTalk and Cloud Computing Expo. Agatha joined 451 Research in April 2010, bringing expertise in cloud computing and enterprise network migration strategies. She is instrumental in our overall global consulting and research activities, with a particular focus on the enterprise segment. She closely follows the strategies, business models, and coverage of the leading global and regional telecom carriers and managed service providers as they relate to their cloud computing strategies. Prior to joining 451 Research, Agatha was a Senior Analyst at Yankee Group for more than 10 years, tracking a wide range of research topics including managed services, IP telephony, WAN optimization, application acceleration, cloud computing deployment models and cloud management solutions. Before Yankee, she worked as a Research Analyst in Frost & Sullivan's Telecommunications Service group, where she primarily focused on network access technologies. Agatha has a high degree of familiarity with the Greater China and Japanese markets, having spent time in these areas during her career. Agatha holds a BA and an MBA in Marketing from Ohio University. She was awarded a full scholarship for the MBA program. In addition to her native Cantonese, Agatha speaks English and Mandarin fluently.
